Headpieces
Headpieces come in several styles including a more traditional kippah suitable
for a man or woman, flat pieces like the lace caps provided by synagogues,
cupped pieces composed almost entirely of crystals or Star of David motifs,
small pillboxes and berets. All are as elegant as a piece of fine jewelry,
suitable for even the most special occasion. The women's styles are the
ultimate in femininity. When you purchase one of these headpieces, you are
purchasing a piece destined to become a family heirloom.
When choosing a style, think about hat styles that flatter you and consider
your hair style. The flat cap may be more suitable for some than a shaped
headpiece. All women's pieces have a comb sewn in. Men have a choice
between a small comb or some velcro (depending on how full a head of hair
you have.) If you have trouble choosing a style, we'll be happy to help you
make a selection.
All pieces are created with only the best quality beads, crystals and
semi-precious gemstones. All are surprisingly lightweight, no heavier than a
crocheted kippah. Please note that these are not crocheted. Nor are they made
with wire. Each piece is shown in only one or two color schemes but other
color possibilities are noted. Some popups include closeups of the crystals so
you can get a better idea of the color.
There is normally a waiting period of one or two months
before an order can be completed.
Please don't wait until the last minute to place an order.
Rush orders will be subject to a surcharge.
